my story
I have always loved gardening, planting, and the spark of joy I feel when I see new growth in the spring. As kids my siblings and I used to play and help in our grandparent’s gardens and I always felt like I was in a magical wonderland.
During a difficult journey with grief, I realized that planting flowers brought healing and peace to my heart in my darkest times. Working in the dirt, seeing green burst out of the ground, the excitement when flowers start to bloom, and cutting and sharing bouquets with people I love has brought me closer to the people I have lost in ways I can’t quite understand or explain. It has helped me appreciate the simple things in life and given me a way to share beauty with others around me. My garden has become a place where I can pray, shed tears, and start to heal. It is now forever linked to my heart.
This year, our family experienced a life-changing event when my 14 year old son suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while at basketball practice. Heroic coaches and paramedics saved his life after 17 minutes of CPR. After heart surgery my son told me he felt like he had a new heart; but I feel that our whole family has a new heart too. Our outlook on life and our love for one another is forever changed. I feel a desire to pay it forward in every way I can, and as a result, a portion of our profits will be donated to heart health foundations. Please feel free to ask me for more information. ❤️
These flowers truly come from my heart and are shared with all the love I can give. My dream is to help make other’s lives more beautiful, one bouquet at a time!
